Here is another thing Bezos can do: Make it clear that the Washington Post will move away from disseminating Neo-Marxist propaganda on behalf of the “Democratic” Party, and become an INDEPENDENT and UNBIASED news source.

We can all agree that technology shifts have made a huge difference in media and beyond, impacting every 20th century product, environment, and lifestyle. What happened to the music industry was a warning sign.

In 2007 the iPhone appeared in Steve Jobs hands at a MacWorld. It combined phone mobility with computer apps and changed the world. Time and geography have never been the same. Young children born after 1999 are now 20-somethings with lives built around mobile internet access to everything, or almost everything.

Funny thing, a company called Amazon is a key player in what I describe as the “instant satisfaction of possession” business.

There has to be a way for Mr. Bezos to combine the immense Amazon membership and volume of people who interact with it weekly with a rewards system for accessing digital information from the Washington Post. Like Peter, I too worked for the Post company— the paper, and two tv stations, as well as a long stint as a CNN vice president. We invented reliable cable TV news. Reliable digital news for this 21st century audience can be created now!
